Pascal Lachance joined Danone Canada in 2011. As the Head of Sustainability, Pascal is responsible for the sustainable development strategy and its implementation. In 2018, he successfully led the process for the company to become the country’s largest consumer-facing certified B Corporation. Under his leadership, Danone Canada signed the Canada Plastics Pact in 2020 and was B Corp recertified in 2021 with an enhanced score. He is regularly called upon to share his experience in regional, national and international working groups. Recycling packaging and circular economy are among the issues on which he devotes a large part of his time – and his passion. Working with Danone’s flexitarian portfolio of trusted brands enables Pascal to provide insightful brand perspective on improving plastic packaging circularity in collaboration with industry partners.
